Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing safety management experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations and local requirements.
• Experience conducting job hazard analyses, risk assessments, or safety audits preferred.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities; strong teamwork.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety audits focusing on personnel, equipment use and adherence to safety programs.
• Develop and deliver safety training and incident prevention programs.
• Establish a safety-focused culture and educate employees on safe practices.
• Analyze incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage contractor safety programs and coordinate safety communications.
