ProAmpac is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support our Griffin, Georgia manufacturing facility. This role partners with the EHS Manager to promote a safe, compliant workplace and ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT standards.

The position offers growth in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The EHS Coordinator will spend ~70% on the floor engaging employees, conducting inspections, and supporting environmental initiatives, with remaining time

Formación

• 1-2 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general safety practices.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees at all organizational levels.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a positive safety culture by leading through example and encouraging employee engagement in all safety initiatives.
• Conduct routine workplace safety inspections, audits, and compliance evaluations.
• Perform OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company policy compliance audits and inspections.
• Perform risk assessments for new equipment, machinery, work areas, and processes.
• Participate in daily and weekly safety walks with supervisors, managers, and plant leadership.
• Conduct behavioral safety observations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Investigate workplace injuries, incidents, near misses, and property damage events to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Manage employee safety concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain safety communication boards, signage, and employee awareness materials.
• Lead or facilitate Safety Committee meetings and employee safety initiatives.
• Assist with the development, scheduling, and delivery of required employee safety training.
• Support corporate, customer, and regulatory EHS audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Track audit findings and verify corrective action completion.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
