Job summary

Albany International Corp. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to report to the Plant Manager and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

You will assist in safety management, coordinate programs, and lead audits while driving a culture of world-class safety and continuous improvement on the production floor. The role requires 3–5 years in a manufacturing safety function, an Associate degree in safety or related field, and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in a safety role in manufacturing.
• Experience developing safety programs and leading audits.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and incident investigations.
• Ability to train and mentor staff on safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws and Albany Safety expectations.
• Assist Plant Manager in safety management and program development.
• Coordinate health and safety programs and audits.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate safety committees and emergency response teams.
• Conduct safety training and orientation for new employees and subcontractors.
