E2 - Endovascular Engineering, in conjunction with its Menlo Park facility, seeks a Director of Manufacturing to lead the entire Manufacturing Department. The role focuses on scaling capacity, optimizing resources, and organizing space for device production aligned with commercial, engineering, and clinical goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Director of Manufacturing in the medical device industry.
• Experience scaling up manufacturing capacity for a Class 2 medical device at a startup.
• Proven leadership experience managing assemblers, technicians, and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate resources and workflow to efficiently build devices for corporate, project, and clinical goals.
• Track and report production metrics (yield, throughput, labor times) to assess performance and present updates.
• Recruit, train, and manage the Manufacturing team including supervisors, technicians, and line staff.
• Manage line layout, equipment maintenance, Kanban for supplies, CER monitoring, and lot history reconciliation.
• Revise production plans based on SIOP updates to adapt to demand and capacity.
• Foster collaboration with other departments and external suppliers.
• Support design transfer from R&D to manufacturing and assist Quality initiatives as needed.
