Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power, headquartered in Michigan City, Indiana, seeks a senior manufacturing leader to oversee fabrication, machining and assembly operations. You will direct facility management, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, cost, quality and efficiency.

This role requires strong collaboration with engineering for new product launches and achieving on-time finishes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is highly desirable.
• Certification in CPIM, CSCP, PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all fabrication, machining, and assembly operations to meet safety, cost, quality and on-time finish targets.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the plants.
• Manage facility maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with Engineering to support new product launches at target cost and on schedule.
• Prepare manufacturing reports with analysis and actions to improve performance and cash flow.
