Job summary

Voiceflow in Kent, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Development Engineer to refine AS9100 implementation in our launch vehicle factory. This role requires expertise in aerospace standards and mechanical design, focusing on improving production processes while ensuring hardware reliability.

You'll lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing capabilities and oversee AS9100 certification, contributing significantly to our mission of creating a scalable space industry.

Qualifications

• Intimate knowledge of aerospace and engineering standards, preferably AS9100.
• Experience with machined parts, metal additive parts, weldments, fasteners, and complex assemblies.
• Experience with analyzing risks and failure investigation.
• Ability to lead by influence across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop capabilities that improve lead time and reliability of launch vehicles.
• Quantify risk at the intersection of manufacturing process and vehicle performance.
• Implement work execution tools and processes in partnership with MES software development team.
• Own AS9100 certification process.
