Job summary

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of manufacturing, process, or product engineering experience.
  • 3–5 years of project leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and track manufacturing KPIs related to productivity, utilization, efficiency, and yield.
  • Perform risk assessments (FMEA) for new and existing processes and products.
  • Maintain and improve process documentation, including control plans, routings, BOMs, and standards.
  • Support Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and corrective action initiatives.
  • Develop and validate manufacturing processes using APQP methodologies.
  • Support new product development, trials, and transition to production.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on tooling, equipment, and process improvements.

Technifab is a leading product and systems solutions contract manufacturer specializing in advanced materials and complex manufacturing processes.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Development Engineer to support process development, new product introduction, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This role applies engineering principles to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost by reducing waste and minimizing process variation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and track manufacturing KPIs related to productivity, utilization, efficiency, and yield
  • Perform risk assessments (FMEA) for new and existing processes and products
  • Maintain and improve process documentation, including control plans, routings, BOMs, and standards
