Job summary

Lyte is hiring a hands-on software engineer to build an internal data platform for manufacturing operations. You will own the data model, data pipelines, API, frontend, and user experience, collaborating with hardware, test, and operations teams across sites and time zones.

You will implement authentication, role-based access, data validation, and automated reporting, while delivering an end-to-end platform that streamlines data from test, yield, inventory, and BOM across external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on project experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and own an end-to-end internal data platform for manufacturing operations.
• Develop a web application (front end + REST API) to search, filter, and pull data across devices and systems.
• Implement authentication, RBAC, and data visibility controls for sensitive data.
• Create and maintain automated pipelines ingesting data from stations and partners into a central store.
• Design a data model with unit-level traceability (serial numbers, lots, timestamps).
• Provide dashboards, reports, and data-mining tools for engineers and operations.
