Job summary

Lydian is seeking an R&D Data Engineer to build the data backbone of our technical organization. As we scale from pilot to production, you will design data infrastructure, enable integration of experimental, manufacturing, and QC data, and develop analysis and visualization tools used by engineers and scientists.

• Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience handling time-series and sensor data in hardware R&D.
• Strong communication and independently lead data projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data infrastructure to store and organize experimental, manufacturing, and QC data.
• Build analysis and visualization tools and dashboards for engineers and scientists.
• Program data-acquisition software to stream data into centralized databases with validation checks.
• Run cross-functional analyses connecting manufacturing data with experimental data.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to deliver reliable data workflows and IT infrastructure.
