Job summary
Socket.dev is seeking a Data Engineer – Manufacturing Quality & Automation for onsite work in Greenville, NC. This 6+ month contracting role focuses on building data pipelines, QA automation, and Power BI insights.
Responsibilities include integrating MES/ERP data, automating processes with UiPath or Power Automate, and delivering scalable data models and dashboards for manufacturing quality stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Manufacturing Analytics, Quality Systems, or Automation.
- Hands-on experience in a Manufacturing environment and QA processes (CAPA, validation).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Power BI, DAX, Power Query for data visualization and reporting.
- UiPath or Power Automate for automation; ERP experience (SAP/Oracle).
- Programming in Python or PySpark; data governance and testing familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify trends and improvements.
- Develop BI dashboards and reporting frameworks for stakeholders.
- Design automated monitoring and data quality checks with QA teams.
