Corning Incorporated in Tolleson, AZ, is seeking a Manufacturing Data Engineer to build the data, reporting, and analytics foundation from the ground up. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, or reporting development.
• Experience designing and implementing data structures, data models, reporting solutions, or performance measurement tools.
• Proficiency in SQL; experience with data querying, transformation, and validation.
• Experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP reporting tools, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with ERP, manufacturing, warehouse, or operational systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data structures, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks that support startup operations and long-term business performance.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, quality, finance, and IT to define data requirements, reporting priorities, and performance measures across functions.
• Support operational excellence initiatives through root cause analysis, performance tracking, standardized metrics, and data-driven process improvements.
• Establish and maintain standards for data governance, data quality, and reporting consistency to ensure scalable and reliable solutions.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues across reports and systems; document key definitions, reporting logic, and KPI calculations.
