Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Custodial General Manager to lead custodial and facility support in a large manufacturing environment, driving safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence to meet client objectives.

You will manage supervisors and frontline staff, oversee budgets and vendor relationships, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to deliver high-quality service and cost control.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and financial acumen are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in an area of Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
• The ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business is essential to success in this role.
• Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
• Meaningful experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability leading through other managers.
• Experience in creating and managing a department budget, financial controls and analysis.
• Experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all custodial and facility support operations within a manufacturing facility.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring service expectations and performance goals are achieved.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and frontline employees to promote a high-performing team culture. Manage budgets, labor, productivity, and operational costs to achieve financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management activities.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and quality.
• Partner with manufacturing leadership to support production objectives and operational needs.
• Monitor KPIs and develop action plans to address opportunities for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted services as needed.
• Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and customer service excellence throughout the operation.
