Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in manufacturing engineering, costing support, or ERP master data.
• Experience with BOM structures, routings, cycle times, and labor standards.
• Strong Excel data analysis skills.
• Experience with Oracle ERP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct BOM audits and validate component structures for accuracy.
• Review and update routings, operations, and work centers.
• Analyze labor standards, cycle times, setup times, and machine rates.
• Perform data cleanup and corrections in Oracle ERP.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, and Finance to resolve cost roll discrepancies.
• Support standard cost analysis and improve data accuracy.
• Document findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Complete BOM and routing audits for assigned product lines.
• Validate cycle times and labor standards.
• Resolve cost roll data issues before 2027 standard cost implementation.

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Manufacturing Costing Engineer for a 4-6 month contract opportunity with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Mt. Hope, OH.
Compensation: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
We are seeking temporary Manufacturing/Industrial Engineers to support the 2027 Standard Cost Roll process. The primary focus will be validating manufacturing master data and cost drivers to ensure accurate product costing within Oracle ERP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Bill of Material (BOM) audits and validate component structures for accuracy
• Review and update manufacturing routings, operations, and work center assignments
• Analyze and validate labor standards, cycle times, setup times, and machine rates
• Perform data cleanup and corrections in Oracle ERP
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve cost roll discrepancies
• Support standard cost analysis and identify opportunities to improve data accuracy
• Document findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
• Completion of BOM and routing audits for assigned product lines
• Accurate validation of cycle times and labor standards
• Timely resolution of cost roll data issues prior to 2027 standard cost implementation

Primary Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, costing support, or ERP master data management
• Experience with BOM structures, routings, cycle time studies, and labor standards
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and validation
• Experience working in Oracle ERP or similar manufacturing ERP systems

Desired Skills:

• Experience supporting annual standard cost roll processes
• Knowledge of discrete manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with time studies, work measurement, and manufacturing cost accounting principles
