Minimum 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Covington manufacturing facility.
Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Maintain and validate standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead; analyze cost variances and identify improvement opportunities.
Partner with plant and corporate leadership to evaluate production efficiency, develop cost metrics, and support decision-making.
Oversee inventory accounting and controls, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and cost-of-goods reporting.
