Job summary

Lean methods drive continuous improvement in the department. Assessment of customer specifications and preparation of the manufacturing plan are key duties, with emphasis on accuracy, organization and timely communication

Qualifications

• Strong math skills with algebra and geometry.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, maps, diagrams and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Reviews external customer documents for requirements and completeness.
• Determines cost for raw material, ink, tooling, and special services.
• Utilizes costing formulas to create a pricing structure.
• Prepares an estimate of manufacturing costs and communicates the quote.
• Prepares the manufacturing plan for production.
• Determines most efficient manufacturing layout for the product.
