Zusammenfassung

ABBA Roller in Ontario, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Cost Engineer (Estimator) to support quoting, cost estimating, and technical evaluation of custom roller and elastomer projects.

You will work closely with Engineering, Production, Sales, Purchasing, and Customer Service to evaluate requirements, interpret drawings, determine methods, estimate costs, and develop accurate quotations. 2–4+ years in manufacturing engineering is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 2–4+ years in manufacturing engineering, cost estimating, quoting or related role.
• Experience with custom manufacturing, elastomer/urethane or similar environments preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Exposure to manufacturing costing, labor standards, BOMs, routings, or production planning preferred.
• Experience with ERP, quoting, CRM, or manufacturing systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.

Aufgaben

• Review quotes, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, tooling, and processing.
• Prepare and submit customer quotations promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Service to validate feasibility.
• Request and evaluate vendor pricing for materials and tooling.
• Analyze costs and identify opportunities for price accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain quote documentation and cost records; support continuous improvement.
• Assist with order handoff and ensure quoted requirements are communicated.
• Communicate with customers on specs, scope, timelines, and pricing details.
