Job summary

CFS is seeking a Cost Analyst in Wisconsin to oversee cost accounting in a manufacturing setting. You will work closely with production and engineering to analyze costs, monitor standard costs, and drive cost improvements.

Responsibilities include inventory coordination, BOM cost analysis, and supporting financial reporting with cross-functional teams to meet cost targets and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee physical inventory processes.
• Maintain standard costs and review standard versus actual cost variances.
• Conduct production floor walkthroughs to investigate variances, reporting issues, and cost build-ups.
• Analyze bills of materials (BOMs) and raw material costs.
• Partner with production, engineering, and procurement teams to develop cost estimates and establish cost targets.
• Support general accounting activities and financial reporting processes.
