Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking a Plant Cost Accountant to analyze plant operations, production reporting, and product costing. You will partner with operations to drive cost visibility and financial accuracy across formulas, recipes, and BOMs.

In this role you will manage standard costs, perform cost analytics, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure cost data aligns with production realities. Occasional travel to plants is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing financial or cost accounting role.
• Experience with ERP systems and BOM structures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing financial results, variances and trends.
• Prepare monthly plant performance reports including standard cost variances.
• Support budgeting and quarterly forecasting for plant operations.
• Monitor capital expenditures and support project justification.
• Maintain and update standard costs in ERP for formulas/recipes.
