Job summary

ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging, is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager for our Catoosa manufacturing facility. You will lead the financial and cost accounting functions, ensure accurate inventory valuation, product costing, and close processes while supporting plant leadership.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in manufacturing accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and a track record of driving cost improvements and reporting integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with standard costing, costing analysis, and financial reporting.
• Experience leading accounting or finance staff.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the site's finance and accounting team.
• Own product costing, inventory accounting, and inventory valuation processes.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to improve efficiency.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate audits and ensure financial controls.
