Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• GAAP knowledge and cost accounting principles.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Prepare monthly cost variance analysis and report findings to management.
• Reconcile inventory accounts and perform periodic physical inventories.
• Analyze production costs and recommend cost-reduction improvements.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to cost accounting activities.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in annual budgets and cost forecasts.
• Monitor manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead).
• Maintain BOM and routing data in ERP.
• Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and production teams.
• Support audits with documentation and analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies.
• Write SOPs for cost accounting processes and controls.
• Support management analyses including manufacturing optimization.
