Job summary

Kurt J Lesker Company is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to maintain product costing, inventory valuation, and operational financial reporting in a manufacturing setting.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to drive profitability and efficiency, perform monthly variance analyses, support the cost forecasting, and assist with ERP enhancements in D365 Finance & Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years accounting experience including inventory costing in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory accounting.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for inventory and cost transactions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and data analysis functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze costs including labor, material, and overhead rates.
• Prepare cost reports and analyses to support operational and financial decision-making.
• Analyze production results, inventory movements, and gross margin performance.
• Support forecasting and budgeting of standard product costs.
• Other duties as assigned.
