Job summary

Liveo Research in Delaware City, DE is seeking a Cost Accountant to join our Finance team. This role analyzes manufacturing costs and supports production costing, budgeting and profitability analysis to deliver actionable insights.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 1–2 years of experience, strong Excel (formulas, pivots) and ERP experience, and an eye for detail to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience is a plus.
• SAP or other ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs and budget-to-actual results.
• Prepare production and cost analysis reports.
• Support product costing, pricing, and profitability analysis.
• Help identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
• Support inventory and cycle count activities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Support annual budgeting and financial audits.
• Work with the Finance team and other departments to improve cost reporting and processes.
