Job summary

Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, seeks a Cost Accountant to analyze, monitor, and control costs. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes and supports informed decisions through cost reports and variance analyses.

Responsibilities include standard cost calculations, inventory reconciliations, and collaboration with production, procurement, and finance to improve cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of cost accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP experience (Glovia) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing, operation, and overhead costs.
• Prepare and maintain cost accounting reports.
• Monitor inventory transactions and perform reconciliations.
• Calculate standard costs and investigate variances.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
• Conduct profitability and cost-benefit analyses.
• Review production costs and suggest cost-reduction strategies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, project management, and finance teams to improve cost efficiency.
