Job summary

NR Consulting in Devens, MA is seeking an experienced Accountant Analyst to support our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, and partnering with operations to improve profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Economics and 2–5 years of manufacturing and general ledger experience, with GAAP expertise. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
2–5 years of General Ledger and Manufacturing Cost Accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, standard costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Manufacturing experience required; Aerospace/defense experience a strong plus.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

Perform cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.
Prepare and analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, and General Ledger accounts.
Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
Maintain internal controls, ensure GAAP compliance, and support audits.
Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing costs and drive improvements.
Develop and automate financial reports using Excel (Macros/VBA) and Power BI.
Participate in continuous improvement and cross-functional projects.
