Job summary

First Solar in Perrysburg, OH is seeking a Technician Manufacturing Engineering (AM Crew) to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control systems across manufacturing equipment. You will test controls, download software changes with the Controls Department, and assist IT with PLC communication device setup and testing.

You will document results, propose continuous improvements, support new equipment commissioning, and collaborate with other departments while following safety procedures

Qualifications

• Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of plant equipment.
• Familiarity with control software and databases; assist with software upgrades.
• Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control systems on manufacturing equipment.
• Test new controls and software updates per Controls Dept.
