Job summary

Solventum, a healthcare-focused innovator, is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Engineer for onsite work at 1750 Yankee Doodle Rd, Eagan, MN. You will support and enhance production-scale equipment, troubleshoot controls and automation, and drive reliability and continuous improvement across labs and pilot production environments.

The role requires a bachelor’s or higher in a relevant engineering field and experience with PLCs, automation, and electro-mechanical systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics discipline (completed and verified prior to start AND two (2) years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment)
Experience with electro‑mechanical systems, automation controls, SCADA systems, or robotics in manufacturing is a plus

Responsibilities

Support and maintain production-scale manufacturing and process development equipment.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and technical support for controls, automation, electromechanical, and web-processing equipment.
Lead proactive equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance, quality, safety, and productivity.
Design, install, modify, validate, and optimize manufacturing equipment and control systems including PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
