Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Controls in Deland, FL to design, program, test, and support PLC-based control systems for manufacturing equipment.

You will troubleshoot automation issues, lead projects, develop electrical drawings, and apply Lean practices to improve reliability and process performance in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, controls engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years supporting manufacturing, controls engineering, production engineering, or continuous improvement.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and automation equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and related docs; lean tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, test, and support PLC-based control systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, automation, and controls issues to improve reliability.
• Lead automation projects including equipment upgrades and new installations.
• Develop electrical drawings, control narratives, and SOPs; document manufacturing processes.
• Support continuous improvement via root cause analysis and lean methods.
