Job summary

Vista Metals, Inc. in Elizabeth Township, PA, is seeking a capable, hands-on Controller to lead and manage our accounting function.

The ideal candidate will have a stable work history and a bachelor’s degree in accounting with progressive manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience as Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Employee benefits experience preferred.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with management

Responsibilities

• Prepares and analyses reports summarizing income, expenses, cash flow and earnings.
• Plan, develop, organize, direct, and evaluate the company’s fiscal function and performance.
• Collaborate with IT Manager and General Manager to develop and improve tracking and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager to maintain costing and pricing metrics for reliable pricing and profitability.
• Responsible for inventory valuation and stock level management to meet forecasts and objectives.
• Coordinate annual renewals for employee benefits and business insurance.
