Global Compression Services in Mount Vernon, OH is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to set up and run our high-volume milling operations, producing parts to customer specifications.

You will read blueprints, calculate feeds and speeds, manage tooling, and work with minimal supervision in a safety-conscious environment that values quality and teamwork.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years CNC job shop experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
• Ability to interpret documents and follow written or oral instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform bending/reaching.

Responsabilidades

The Manufacturing CNC Mill performs both routine and non-routine, moderately complex CNC functions following appropriate procedures for timely and accurate production.

What You\'ll Do

• Primary duty is to set-up and operate CNC Mill to machine parts to customer requirements.
• Must be able to work in a high-volume environment.
• Must be able to read basic blueprints and perform basic job shop mathematical calculations.
• Familiar with CNC operation and possess a basic understanding of set-ups, tooling, and programming concepts, as well as feeds and speeds.
• Must be able to follow written instructions and to work with little supervision.
• Basic understanding of true position tolerance and Cartesian coordinate systems.
• Cleanliness of the work area and proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent damage or loss.
