Job summary

Advanced Group in Scarborough, ME, is seeking a Technical Manufacturing Chemist I to support reagent production, quality testing, and manufacturing operations in a regulated laboratory environment.

You will manufacture reagents, perform in-process quality control testing, maintain records, operate analytical equipment, and help ensure GMP/GLP compliance while collaborating with teammates to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience with laboratory techniques such as pipetting, spectrophotometry, HPLC, electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, or related analytical methods.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory documentation practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture reagents and materials according to established procedures.
• Perform in-process quality control testing and analyze results.
• Support production activities, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
