Job summary

Bishop & Company, Inc. represents a confidential Hawaii-based manufacturer seeking a Capital Projects Manager to lead manufacturing engineering initiatives, production improvements, and capital projects across multiple facilities.

You will partner with plant leadership to evaluate equipment performance, drive automation upgrades, manage scopes, budgets, and schedules, and ensure projects are completed safely and on time from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience leading capital projects in manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing projects from concept through commissioning.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and equipment integration.
• Experience working with contractors, OEMs, and equipment vendors; proven budget and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate bottlenecks in manufacturing processes to drive capacity and efficiency.
• Lead multimillion-dollar capital projects from concept through startup.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and plant leadership.
• Oversee vendor coordination, installation, and performance validation.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery.
