Job summary

Inline Plastics Corp. seeks a Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst to own QMS and PDM across multi-site operations, and to support ERP/MES platforms.

You will translate quality and production requirements into dashboards and reports that track supplier performance, production metrics, and executive KPIs. The role combines systems administration, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration with IT and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field with 3 years’ experience, or 7 years in related role.
• Experience with business intelligence and dashboarding tools (Power BI or similar).
• Experience with relational databases for reporting and troubleshooting (SQL or similar).
• Familiarity with system integration concepts including APIs and data exchange between enterprise platforms.
• Preferred: Experience administering a Quality Management System (QMS) in manufacturing; ERP systems; experience with VBA, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions: develop, publish, and maintain dashboards and reports for quality metrics and KPIs.
• Serve as primary system administrator and SME for QMS across modules; configure workflows, forms, user permissions, and links.
• Administer the PDM/PLM systems including user access and vault health.
• Collaborate with IT and operations on ERP/MES enhancements, upgrades, and data governance; support data exchange via APIs.
• Support end users with system documentation and training materials.
• Lead cross-functional quality and operations improvement initiatives across sites; travel ~10% as needed.

Job SummaryThe Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of enterprise quality and operational systems across Inline Plastics Corp. This role serves as the primary owner of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Product Data Management (PDM) system, supports the company ERP/MES platform, and maintains data integrity and reporting infrastructure across multiple business-critical applications. The position requires a blend of quality systems expertise, ERP/QMS technical proficiency, and analytical capability to support cross-functional teams and multi-site operations.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential functions/duty satisfactorily. Other duties/functions may be added or assigned.OperationsTranslate business requirements into analytical solutions: Develop, publish, and maintain dashboards and reports to support quality metrics, supplier performance, production data, and executive KPIs.Serve as the primary system administrator and subject matter expert for the company QMS across all active modules, responsible to configure and maintain module workflows, forms, task profiles, user assignments and permissions, and custom document links.Build and maintain QMS reports and dashboards to support multi-site audit compliance (participating as a data subject matter expert), supplier performance, and quality KPI tracking.Collaborate with IT and operations on ERP/MES enhancements, upgrades, and data governance, supporting the integrations between ERP/MES and third-party systems via APIs and data exchange methods.Administer the Product Data Management (PDM) and Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems including user access, workflow configuration, folder permissions, and vault health.Evaluate new tools and system enhancements; provide business cases and implementation recommendations, manage vendor relationships.Support end users across quality, operations, and supply chain functions by developing and maintaining system documentation and user training materials as applicable.Support cross-functional quality and operations improvement projects that drive company wide initiatives such as cost reduction, process optimization, and customer satisfaction.This position requires domestic travel of approximately 10%, as necessary.SafetyComply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements.Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.Attend scheduled EH&S training program.Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans.Recommend improved EH&S practices.Practices safe work habits and follows general safety procedures such as proper lifting and bending, ergonomics, proper use of equipment and use of personal protection equipment (PPE).Product Safety and QualityFollows Product Safety and Quality standards.Follows GMP’s in regard to food contact packaging as it pertains to the employee.Follows IPC product defense standards and complies with all SQF requirements.Minimum Requirements (include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required.)
