Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or experience equivalent to a four-year college education.
• 3+ years of experience in operations and distribution.
• 2+ years’ supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of machining and integrated business and manufacturing systems operations involving MRP.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, interview, hire and make recommendations relating to the termination, transfer, promotion and evaluation of employees' performance appraisal.
• Profit & Loss responsibility and accountability for the assigned shop.
• Handle incoming communications and inquiries on pricing information and quotations, part identifications, application recommendations, delivery dates, change orders and seal repair service.
• Approve ordering parts from vendors. Determine parts accessories to achieve distribution of objectives and meet customer requirements.
• Price orders, calculate special prices. Expedite orders for customers by mail and telephone.
• Supervise supply chain to achieve optimum customer service with good inventory control. Check balance against inventory control records.
• Pull stock from warehouse in preparation for filling orders. Check, wrap, weigh and pack a variety of different products to conform to factory work orders.
• May receive incoming material. Unloads, unpacks, verifies correctness of received material against bill of lading, invoice, etc.
