Perigee Manufacturing Company, Inc. in Detroit, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Assistant to join our team.

This role supports accounting, payroll, and office operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting to drive growth. This position requires strong QuickBooks Desktop experience, proficiency with MS Office, and high attention to detail; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a bookkeeper in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop (5+ years).
• Experience with Sage or similar bookkeeping software preferred.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Exceptional Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports promptly.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations regularly.
• Assist with payroll processing and regulatory compliance.
• Generate financial reports and summaries for management.
• Monitor inventory-related financial transactions supporting manufacturing operations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Front-desk support.
• Filing and record keeping.
• Scheduling and office organization.
