Job summary

KEB AMERICA, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Manager in Shakopee, MN. This onsite role leads the Manufacturing Automation Team, guiding design, programming, simulation, and testing of automated systems to improve production performance.

You will drive continuous improvement, oversee capital projects, mentor staff, and collaborate across departments to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals. The position emphasizes hands‑on leadership in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with controls focus preferably.
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing automation or controls engineering.
• Experience leading automation projects from concept to implementation.
• Strong PLC, HMI, vision systems, robots programming skills.
• Working knowledge of C# or similar languages.
• Experience with SolidWorks and CAD software.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design layout of equipment or workspaces for max efficiency.
• Design, install, or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Develop testing methods and validate process requirements.
• Apply lean manufacturing to improve quality, reliability, or costs.
