Job summary

KEB AMERICA INC. seeks a Manufacturing Automation Manager to guide the Automation Team and drive advanced manufacturing initiatives. This hands-on leadership role designs, programs, simulates, and tests automated systems to ensure accurate, efficient production tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong automation background, proven leadership, and experience with PLCs, robotics, and CAD tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with controls focus preferably.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing automation, controls engineering or related industrial automation environments.
• Experience leading automation projects from concept through implementation and continuous improvement.
• Experience implementing automation and robotic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and programming skills involving PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, robots, and other automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design layout of equipment or workspaces to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Design, install, or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Design testing methods and test finished products or process capabilities to establish standards.
• Apply lean manufacturing to enhance quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
• Lead and mentor automation team across departments.
• Communicate production capabilities and schedules to stakeholders.
• Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes or procedures.
