Job summary
Universal Stainless in North Jackson, OH is seeking a Corporate Automation Engineer to design, program, troubleshoot, and support industrial automation and control systems across manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and IT to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and drive automation projects from concept to implementation.

Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of industrial automation and controls experience.
- Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control equipment.
- Ability to travel occasionally between locations.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, test, and maintain automation systems including PLCs and HMIs.
- Provide hands-on support for manufacturing equipment to diagnose issues.
- Develop and modify PLC/HMI programs for improvements.
- Troubleshoot industrial networks and automation hardware.
- Support capital projects and process improvements.
