Job summary
Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc. is seeking a Corporate Automation Engineer to design, program, troubleshoot, and support industrial automation and control systems across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/automation engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum five years in industrial automation and controls in manufacturing.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, test, commission, and maintain automation systems.
- Provide hands-on support to diagnose and resolve automation issues.
- Develop PLC/HMI programs for equipment improvements and changes.
- Troubleshoot industrial networks and automation hardware.
- Test, start up, and commission equipment modifications.
- Maintain documentation including PLC/HMI, drawings, backups.
- Support capital projects, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, OEMs, and contractors.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Identify safety, productivity, and reliability improvements through automation.
- Support continuous improvement of manufacturing performance.
