Job summary

Merck is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Specialist at the West Point site to support connected instruments, qualification, and integration testing with MES. You will help ensure compliant supply of quality vaccine products, maintaining SDLC, GMP, safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include validating instruments, implementing change controls, and collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams while advancing automation technologies and data analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of automation/instrument validation experience.
• Associate’s degree and 3 years of automation/instrument validation experience.
• High school diploma with 6 years of automation/validation experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with cGMP and regulatory requirements in daily activities.
• Design, implement, test, and close out change controls for corrective actions and improvements.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve technical issues.
• Lead or participate in investigations to prevent recurrence and implement corrective actions.
• Stay current with automation technologies and propose adoption.
