  • Escalate observations to area management upon identification of potential issues in order to avoid downstream impacts.
  • Perform scheduled and as‑needed cleaning operations to sanitize work area, equipment, and lab supplies.
  • Verify all required equipment and materials are in the proper condition and disposition status prior to beginning work.
  • Accurately complete all required work documentation including, but not limited to, entering data into batch records, maintaining cleaning and maintenance logs, and initiating deviations and/or nonconformities.
  • Assist with maintaining finished goods, work‑in‑progress, and raw material inventory levels.
  • Support a safe work environment by following all PPE requirements and identifying any opportunities for improvement.
  • Propose and perform revisions to procedures, batch records, work instructions, and other training materials to improve workflow and reduce potential for errors.
  • Interact with support functions such as Quality Control and Supply Chain on activities required for manufacturing and testing.
  • Perform root cause analyses using techniques such as the 6Ms and 5‑whys.
  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, or operational efficiency.
FOR THIS POSITION, WE LOOK FOR
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another related field, and
    • 0-2 years of hands‑on laboratory experience in a medical device, biotechnology, or academic setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in standard productivity tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Curiosity and willingness to adopt emerging technologies, including AI tools, to support task/workflow automation focused at increasing operational efficiency.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
JOB CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work in a laboratory environment while wearing PPE consistent with the requirements of BSL‑1, or, when applicable, BSL‑2 laboratories.
  • Standing for extended periods, and occasionally carrying and/or lifting up to 30 pounds is required.
Benefits
  • Medical, dental, vision, and Rx (prescription) coverage beginning on the 1st day of the month following your start date. Parse covers 90% of the monthly premiums for employees, and 60% for dependents.
  • A 401(k) program with no waiting period to participate.
  • Basic life insurance and short and long‑term disability coverage. Monthly premiums for both are covered at 100% by Parse.
  • Flexible spending account (FSA) options for medical, dependent care, and commuter expenses.
  • A transportation program (Seattle only).
  • 12 paid holidays annually.
  • A generous time off policy.

This is a Non‑Exempt/Hourly Position. The range provided reflects the hourly pay range. Market Pay Range – Exact compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, and skills.
