Job summary

True Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to operate presses and large equipment, assemble parts, and maintain quality. You will stand for long shifts, lift heavy items, and follow strict safety protocols to ensure smooth production.

The role requires basic machining knowledge, attention to detail, and reliable teamwork during a 3 x 12 hour Fri-Sun night schedule. Training provided for safety and operation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Machine Operator preferred.
• Understand basics of machine set up.
• Understand basic Quality Control standards.
• Must be able to read tape measure.
• Strong time management, prioritization, multi-tasking and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction.
• Prior sheet metal experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate presses and other large machinery.
• Assemble parts using air guns, drills and screwdrivers.
• Clean parts and finished models to remove oils/residues.
• Stand up to 12 hours on a cement floor.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE.
• Move to any part of the plant to support production.
• Work in a team and communicate professionally.

Join us at True Manufacturing where your job duties will include manufacturing and assembling of commercial and residential food and beverage refrigeration equipment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Machine OperationOperate presses and other large machineryPrima PowerSalvagnini S4/P4Press Brake/Backup operatorHandling of heavy and sharp metals and operating powerful hydraulic presses on a regular basis.Perform production tasks requiring repetitive hand movements.Assemble parts using appropriate hand tools, such as air guns, power drills and power screw drivers.Clean parts and finished models to remove oils and residues from inside and outside of unit.Must be physically able to stand for up to 12 hours of the workday on a cement floor.Prolonged use of vibrating and air-powered (pneumatic) tools, sustained overhead lifting activities, prolonged or sustained repetitive grasping and/or gripping with hands, and sustained repetitive bending of the wrists.Lift and move materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds as needed for production.Perform other production duties as assigned and instructed by supervisor.Work in a team environment and maintain professional communication.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Team members are required to follow all company safety rules, wear safety glasses, ear plugs and other necessary safety equipment to prevent injuries. Team members are also required to follow all plant/work rules and supervisory instructions. Team members must be able to move to any part of the plant where needed to maintain production.
