48forty Solutions is hiring a Pallet Repair Reman in Henderson, CO. You will repair and rebuild pallets from recycled materials, ensuring they meet quality standards while following safety rules.

Training is provided, with a transition to a higher hourly rate plus piece rate as you complete training and meet production quotas. The schedule is Monday–Friday, with benefits and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred.
• Requires quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality.
• Observance of all safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables in situations with standardized requirements.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule form instructions.
• Demonstrated experience safely operating air-driven, electric, pneumatic, and manual woodworking tools.
• Previous experience in welding, lumbering, construction, carpentry, or roofing is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with Production Supervisors, Assistant Plant Manager, and Plant Manager
• Examine products after repairing to verify conformance to quality standards
• Must maintain a clean & safe working environment that meets 48forty’s standards
• Build the given number of pallets, once training is complete
• Repair the given number of pallets, once training is complete
• Work without constant supervision to achieve production quotas in the repair area
• Stack pallets or materials following inventory control instructions
• Check loads to ensure they are secure

Overview

As a Pallet Repair Reman, you’ll get to build wooden pallets from recycled materials, deconstructed pallets and/or lumber. You may also repair pallets by taking damaged pallets sent from our customers and return them to service-ready condition, before consolidating and shipping them back to the customer. As sustainability is one of our organization’s top goals, this role is vital to our success!

Hourly Pay:

19.50/hr. During Training 60 days and then $16.00/hr. + Piece rate (AVG $21.00/hr. - $31.00/hr

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
