Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring a Pallet Repairer in San Antonio, TX. You will build and repair wooden pallets daily, earning $16.00 per hour plus a piece rate based on output. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, at 5250 Tacco Drive.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety and quality. Benefits, overtime, and career advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly and work in varying conditions.
• Experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and assemble pallets with nail gun along set stringers.
• Stack finished pallets for forklift movement and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain high quality while handling a high volume of pallets.
• Communicate effectively and be able to work overtime as needed.

As a Pallet Repairer, you’ll get to build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood on a daily basis to fulfill all of our customers’ needs! This is a piece rate position, so the more pallets you repair, the more money you make!

Hourly Pay

$16.00/hr + Piece Rate

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers
• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas
• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company
• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
