48forty Solutions is hiring a Pallet Repairer in Lubbock, TX to build and repair wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood. This is a piece-rate position with hourly pay of $16.00 plus additional earnings from the piece rate, on 1st shift (Mon-Fri) 7:00am-2:30pm at 7507 Texas 331 Spur.

You will assemble pallets with a nail gun, stack finished goods for forklift movement, and follow all safety procedures. A High School Diploma or GED and ability to lift approximately 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift pallets weighing about 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrates quick hands, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and ability to work overtime as needed.

• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas.
• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company.

Overview

As a Pallet Repairer, you’ll get to build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood on a daily basis to fulfill all of our customers’ needs! This is a piece rate position, so the more pallets you repair, the more money you make!

Hourly Pay:

$16.00/hr. + Piece Rate

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 2:30pm
