48forty Solutions is hiring a Pallet Repairer in Indianapolis, IN to assemble and repair wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood. This piece-rate position also offers hourly pay, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

You will receive wood, nail components, and assemble pallets, while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards for a high-volume operation. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and effective communication for team coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing experience preferred.
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers.
• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas.
• Ensure safety by following all company procedures.
• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods.

Overview

As a Pallet Repairer, you’ll get to build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood on a daily basis to fulfill all of our customers’ needs! This is a piece rate position, so the more pallets you repair, the more money you make!

Hourly Pay:

$15.00/hr or piece rate $0.30

Shift(s):

1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 AM-1:30 PM

2nd Shift Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 9:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
