48forty Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Associate (Pallet Repairer) in Richmond, VA to build and repair wooden pallets daily. This piece-rate role rewards high-volume repairs with higher earnings, starting at $15.00 per hour and a Monday–Friday shift.

You’ll receive pallets from the saw shop, assemble with a nail gun, and ensure safety and quality while meeting production targets. A high school diploma or GED is required, and the job involves lifting up to 50 lbs.

Overview

As a Manufacturing Associate (Pallet Repairer), you’ll get to build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood on a daily basis to fulfill all of our customers’ needs! This is a piece rate position, so the more pallets you repair, the more money you make!

Hourly Pay:

$15.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 2:30pm

What You'll Do

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers

• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas

• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company

• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work overtime as needed
