Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Work as part of a team performing routine tasks to support assembly and production of storm door products. Follow established standard work and instructions under general supervision. The assembler may rotate across various workstations (lay up, screw shooter, insert builder, window glazer, kitting, screen roller, hinge assembler, assembly line operator, door pusher). May also serve as a training role.

Position Primary Responsibilities

• Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards for Safety, Quality, and AMS functions.
• Perform assembly or sub-assembly operations: assembling, packing, labeling, scanning, matching, sequencing, installing, kitting, bagging, glazing, staking, punch pressing.
• Work from drawings/specifications; use gauges/templates; retrieve parts; ensure quality and dimensional accuracy; complete documentation.
• Operate simple hand/power tools; make routine adjustments; handle materials (lineal, poly, screen cloth, cardboard, wood, glass, vinyl, aluminum, metal).
• Other duties as assigned.

PROFIT SHARING:

In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
