Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for the 3rd shift in Luray, VA to support storm door product assembly. You will rotate across stations, follow standard work, and assist with labeling, packaging, glazing, and line maintenance.

Training may occur for cross-functional tasks. In this role, you must read and follow written instructions, use a tape measure, and work safely on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Willingness to rotate across multiple assembler tasks.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards for Safety, Quality, and AMS functions.
• Perform assembly or sub-assembly operations: assembling, packing, labeling, scanning, matching, sequencing, installing, kitting, bagging, glazing, staking, punch pressing.
• Work from drawings/specifications; use gauges/templates; retrieve parts; ensure quality and dimensional accuracy; complete documentation.
• Operate simple hand/power tools; make routine adjustments; handle materials (lineal, poly, screen cloth, cardboard, wood, glass, vinyl, aluminum, metal).
• Other duties as assigned.
