We are recruiting on behalf of Ashley Furniture for a Manufacturing Associate in Saltillo, MS. This plant-based role focuses on assembling fine home furnishings using power tools, maintaining strict build quality standards, operating factory equipment, and ensuring safe plant throughput.

Key Responsibilities (Manufacturing & Craftsmanship):

• Assemble quality furniture through expert craftsmanship and standardized production techniques.
• Maintain quality standards by performing detailed inspections, minor adjustments, and refinements.
• Drive production efficiency using modern tracking systems and digital tools to document output.
• Master specialized equipment and power tools while strictly following safety and operational procedures.
• Package and secure finished furniture carefully to safeguard pieces during storage and transit.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and ergonomic workspace, including tools and manufacturing machinery.
• Contribute to equipment reliability through proactive inspections and clear communication with maintenance.
• Participate actively in training sessions, plant safety meetings, and peer mentoring opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Physical capability to transport loads up to 100 lbs frequently and manipulate up to 250 lbs occasionally (with assistance).
• Comfortable operating manufacturing machinery and hand/power tools with precision and safety.
• High attention to detail with ability to record production data accurately via digital scanners and logs.
• Keen eye for identifying cosmetic or assembly defects and taking initiative to correct them.
• Dedicated safety-first mindset adhering to all plant protocols and looking out for teammates.
