An established industry player is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for their Forge Department. We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Associate in our Forge Department at the Bakers facility in Monroe, NC. You will perform a variety of tasks within the department, such as operating furnaces, cut-off saws, grinders, Glama, forklifts, and cranes. You will acquire skills on the shop floor through cross-training and job rotations.
A successful associate will demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to follow written and multiple instructions, independence, and motivation. Responsibilities include setting up and operating machines safely according to standard operating procedures, detecting faulty equipment, and identifying defective materials.
